We've pulled together the data for PC to Console.  I think the MechStat Comparison sheet may have some errors, so please keep that in mind. I'm posting it anyway, and will have someone recheck the figures over the weekend. If there are changes that need to be made to it, i'll let you know.

Does this mean the RevGL doesn't generate heat in turret mode?

From what I have seen the behavior works as expected; If you go into turret mode with heat, it will actually subtract heat. It will not generate any heat or lose any. I've seen that while playing today.

Another reason why I like the new grenadier more. ALL THE EXPLOSION!

 

The numbers look good, I like the vast majority of the number tweaks. Thanks for releasing the numbers to us! The Hawken Salty Stats abides

 

As I streamed some Hawken on xbox today the old saying rang true. You can tweak the numbers all day, but you can't balance for players experienced in the game versus players not experienced in the game.:) 

 

I think it is a thing people say?

meh...it is sad when you can't see damage per bullet

This, while you can derive it from DPS, shots per second and then the number of traces, it's handy to have the information.

Having the m/s information straight up rather than as UU and dividing by 50 would be good too.

I like how the Corsair's MIRV mode is called KLA, and the KLA mode called Lob..

 

I guess the Nief's "Homing Turret" is a Seeker Turret?

But don't us PC players get to keep all additional weapons for Legacy Mechs as long as we have purchased them before the update goes live?

Damn I am utterly disappointed with this supposed 'update'.

 

No longer will we have the customization that we loved (chassis parts, weapons etc) but the mechs will no longer be "choose the mech for the role you wan to play' but what seem to be 'get the bigger better mech because it is better'.

 

I loved it how the CRT and the first mechs you got were always useful no matter the rank/teir.

 

And dont get me started on the menu GUI, consoles have alot to answer for when they screw the PC menus just so they can navigate without a mouse.

 

From my admittedly limited info about the 'new hawken', it looks like I may not be playing it anymore when the update hits.

Given discrepancies between numbers posted here and numbers shown in game, which one should I assume is correct?

 

My guess is that they are all the same and there is just a unit conversion done to calculate the front-end values, but I'd like to make sure.

 

EDIT:

Heat cannon has more DPS charged, but with the same refire/heat stats? What mechanical change lead to this?

 

EDIT2:

Stats on all 3 levels of items/internals would be great. Also, is homing turret a Seeker turret?

What makes you think we'll get a console GUI when the one we have is perfectly fine? If we want to keep our legacy mechs they literally have to keep the garage because as I understand it: on the console version you grab your mechs from the mech tree not a garage and because customization is limited you have only one of each mech.

Still not liking the G2-idea.

 

I remember a long time ago that Adhesive said they weren't going to add many more G2 mechs, and were going to focus instead on more unique mechs and weapons.

 

Funny how things work out, isn't it; now we have G2 mech variants for every existing mech ( more or less ), and they all just use existing weapons in random combinations.

 

It's what we always wanted, right?

  • The fact that G2's are literally better in every way is unjustifiable.

How the hell does that make it through internal discussions.

Literally what is wrong with the team's train of thought.

Does that not set off alarm bells for a single person, that it might possibly bite you guys in the butt in the long-run as you get slammed with accusations of pay2win/grind2win (which are not baseless) and the game's reputation falls further into the gutter.

They should just have REDISTRIBUTED stats or not exist at all. Perhaps a Berserker with more health and faster ground speed, but worse air speed. Or maybe a Predator with faster walking speed but worse boost speed.

 

  • What the hell did you do to my Vanguard and Brawler bae (less serious point)

I don't know if I can live without my Hawkins Brawler and Mini Flak Vanguard if grandfathered mechs are not allowed for cross-play.

 

 

Those two points aside, thank you for releasing this information.

0.7 second scout dodge? WTF it was fast enough as it WAS... at least say you fixed the hit box on the scout?

 

Also...

 

thank you for NOT making the charge a scout speed mech, i am honestly SOOOOO grateful for this...

The Maurader special weapon is listed as "Corsair-KLA XT" which is missing from the "Explosive Weapons" spreadsheet.  Is there any difference in stats between the regular Corsair on Raider and the XT version on Maurader?  On CraftyDus' stream the XT on the Maurader seems to have a fire rate of about 2.5 seconds which makes me inclined to think this is the case.

Marauder appears to have the regular KLA in the current XB1 patch both by label and apparent cool down.

 

I'm on the fence for if that's a nerf or a buff that is intentional.

One of the Charge internals is listed as "detonation device". This is unique to the Charge and as far as I can tell is a bomb you drop from your mech that detonates a few seconds after you are destroyed. I got my hands on a founders pack today during a stream so I've been working on getting some more info about the mech.

I have to infer this because, unfortunately, the description of this item didn't make it into the interface at console release.

As a side note, if I'm correct about the denotation device, it is the same as an internal that was demoed during the Hawken Advanced Battalion (HAB). Will we be seeing some other internals from that test version of Hawken, I wonder?
