Man, I gotta call you on this, I've been playing since, like, 3 days after OB started.  Bought MC once ($5) to buy a skin for Fred, and a couple internals.  I can not believe that the HC grind is that bad, compared to WoT, League, DOTA, or any other F2P title with a dual currency system.

Since 12/15/12, I've leveled every mech in the game, twice, with full load outs, just because I like the game.  Grind is only perceived by those that have to have completion as a goal.  Just play the game, and progress naturally and it's not bad at all.  The match rewards since Ascension are generally higher iirc, and SA's were never a thing before what, the Tech patch_

They also give you, for free, every mech in the game, just for maxing out ranks now (and that costs what 6k HC max_), something they DID NOT do when I bought every. mech. in. the. game. twice.


Why not just give everyone max pilot level, tuning points, all the internals and weapons free, and have a member of the Adhesive staff give you a Backrub and happy ending after you download the game_  That'll get all the neck beards playing.

Dear Sad Reaper Pilot,

Your medium/close range sustained fire weapon the Hawkins-RPR, is good, and remains good.  Plus with correct use of your ability (that everyone says is useless) you can achieve 100% accuracy for a significant period of time.  Add to that the AM-Sar, and Slug, and you are a much more well rounded mech overall than the Sharpshooter.  

Just say you want Powershot on Reaper, it clears up all this passive aggressive stuff nicely.

A plain 15% damage reduction for HF. Bravo for that interesting change and for making the bruiser a mediocre mech again, just where it belongs I suppose. At least I will be the only one in the match again.

I think the service awards bonus was the only thing going for it, I am all stoked about getting the achievements but now I don't see a point :/ well it was good while it lasted.

Well First a good job to the Devs for rolling this out so quickly and addressing issues players were experiencing and if nothing else making the attempt to try and balance the mechs, ;)
The HC rewards removal from Service Awards is an unexpected twist :wacko: though and one that I imagine has been coming for some time, I haven't got all my rewards yet as I haven't hit 8000 award points yet and while I understand that the Awards will still be there for me to chase after I always enjoyed the additional HC for my achievements (is was like the prize money :D ) I know that this will be most felt by the New players more then the long in the tooth players so I wonder what will you be doing to the economy to make it still viable for newer players to obtain their gear_ WIll there be a buff to the amount of HC that can be earned during matches_( this would make sense even if it were 10% or better in gains)
​ I am one that did love the pre-accession mode and exp. gains but have gotten used to the newer systems, This will not cause me to not play differently but it does change how I can explain to new players what they can do to catch up to me and get equipped rapidly as the mechanic has been removed. :(
