There have been a lot of ideas recently surrounding community generated media. The best way to get these projects off the ground and get people involved is to set up a meeting and that is what I am going to attempt to do. The meeting will take place in the community teamspeak and the discussion will be including (but not limited to) the official TPG twitch channel, monthly montages, and a community twitch/youtube twitter account. If you are interested in attending this meeting please state your particular interest in a reply to this thread as well as when are good times (in the next week or so) for you to attend such an event. 

 

The event would be approximately an hour long and would involve a discussion of the projects as well as opportunities to get connected with people who share similar interests in community generated media. Positions need to be filled for current and pending projects to succeed. If you would like to help out I encourage you to attend. 

 

In particular I would like JeffMagnum, Nept, Counterlogicman, and Eth0 to be there, as they have expressed interest in leading/are already leading community projects. 

 

Thank you for your time and consideration. Let's get together and remind this community what Hawken is really about.

I appreciate the initiative, but I'm going to pass.  Don't want to involve myself in any Hawken projects apart from TPG atm.  If you need my help with something specific, just hit me up on Steam.

I've faith enough in Counter to trust him with a twitch account and a meeting.  Should mention that I'm not declining the invitation out of spite.  Just don't want to pile more work on my plate while I'm shifting Omni into another game.

Yarp. Weekday evenings after 9 are good, Friday and through the weekend is whenever.

EDIT: oops, EST, of course. Earlier on weeknights is okay if work behaves its schedule.

I video and stream robots, have a silly costume, and do the TPG.

I could most likely attend, however, I'm still a little bit confused whether this is meant to be an initiative for TPG participants / for the US region only or not. If so, there would of course be no reason for me to be there, then I would be willing to help to organize something similiar for the EU region, however, I just wanted to ask first considering that a cooperation among different regions might result in difficulties regarding time management and organization at all.

I don't see any 'this is for NA/TPG only'. Let's not separate the NA and EU regions, coordination of timezones like that is perfectly possible.

Anyway I can show up any day except sundays the 16th and 23rd, although preferably I'd like to leave before 2AM GMT+1h so I dunno if that works out timezone-wise with America.

Since several people from EU Timezones will likely be attending, could you please fix the meeting at an NA-EU friendly time?

5pm GMT is a good time to work off as that equates to 1pm EST
