For Hawken: The progress being made is not enough to statisfy me and other players as well. The progress is too minor to mention.

All I see from OP is a complete disconnect with the business and production aspects of running a game. A complete disregard for any of the news updates from Josh. As well as a complete misunderstanding of the situation that Hawken is/was in.

No.  If I am that hungry, I'd get whatever I can get with my $0.50 or find a way to get more $$$.  I wouldn't whine about things I can't control.

It's also this thing called "patience" and not crying when I don't get exactly what I want when I want it.

Imo this sounds like you love the game just as much as the next guy & you even believe it will make a second coming. The way i see it if one was seriously & truly frustrated with the game right now without believing in it they wouldn't even bother coming back to check. As long as we have devs it isn't dead. But it is simply no worthy competitor in the market. In fact, not even noticed if it wasn't so hyped before.

 

Look I do want it to be successful but I can presume that with the current progress being made (assuming it won't change significantly, which is quite likely) the game will never get close to its potential it had before.

 

Either do things right and with 110% effort or don't do them at all. Everything below 100% is poor and annoys me, doesn't even has a right to exist.

Kojima was hired to lead the dev team, all remaining MC moniez spent on card game revival, and all new Hawken launching tomorrow!

Seriously though, OP has every right to be fed up with Hawken, and that's ok. I'm in the same boat, but I just taking an extended hiatus from playing. When Reloaded gets things squared away and Hawken improves, new content is released, updates are frequent and meaningful, they get my money. Till then, I'm not spending any more cash or time on Hawken, and I'd recommend others do the same if you're really upset about the game.

Don't know if this has already been said, but, this game is free, no one forces you to play. Its anoyying that their is a lack of content, but you have litle reason to show this much agression. It would be different if you had to pay, and the game wasn't worth the price, but again, its free.
Reloaded doesn't have to do what poeple want, but it can benefit them. But a post like this doesn't help their progression.

LOL Keep waiting as you commuinty get smaller and you loose player base. if you do not even have the skill to hire one person in eight months i would say you not only bought a game that you have no skill to acualy produce but  secondly your managment is inept if you cannot hire at least one programer to start somthing.   but hay wait another eight monthes

I will not Put one dime into this game untill i see new content.   it is free to play  but in the end it is here  to net money. so what is going on now  is bad busines all around. if you spend money on this game with out any new content and are happy waiting another 8 monthes  or a year or so more for a company that has up till now done nothing excet aquire and tweak their   new servers hay man have at it. Half of you act like i am saying somthing new or that somthing is going to change ...... if you can not run a  company than you should not buy it . If this is the how  you think business is done go buy a bio lab just the lab.  Now buy all the equipment .... start selling stock . Now more inportantly do not hire anyone for 8 monthes and tell your stock holders it is just hard getting a bio lab started with no body working there....... see how that goes over

capnjosh wishes he could be moving faster, on the stuff he can talk about publicly. There's stuff they can't release, or won't release for a little while. They have their corporate reasons.

They have hired. They hired some lead programmer or engineer guy who worked on Evolve. They have people. Just not enough people.

So by your own words, Hawken has not changed at all for the past 8 months? The world has some funny people.

"Nothing" = altering the new player experience with a new starter mech and better HC gain
"Nothing" = improving server performance and lower ping
"Nothing" = useable private servers, newly released cosmetics, new server regions and locations


Remember folks, all that is NOTHING. NO WORK. NOTHIIIIING. You aren't AWARE.

That type of work takes programmers and engineers, which they have to do backend work. The frontend people (content makers) have to be hired.

If you're going to keep acting like this, ignoring sensible refutations and advice, even capnjosh stepped in to say a word, then I wouldn't want your money. With my job, no matter how much a person pays us, a few times hundreds of dollars, if not a thousand were on the table, if they're a rude fuzzy bunny we turn them away. If they rant and rail against us, we turn them away. If they disrespect us and insult us and are rude, they're out the door. No questions.


If I may ask a question that I wish answered. If you want to go along with an analogy, do you start building a house without a solid foundation, or even without a foundation? I mean sure, you can build an amazing house that's worth billions, but that house will topple with people living inside, with a crappy foundation. Not good for the consumers. If you want to build a house, a product, etc., fill it in with whatever you want, you need a solid foundation to build upon otherwise work put into the house is all but wasted. It doesn't matter if Reloaded hires 100 gameplay programmers and they pump out a new mech tomorrow, if the servers are fuzzy bunny then nobody wants to play anyway. Servers and backend work are the foundations for the game to be built upon. So shut the fuzzy bunny up and be patient. And your ability to process relevant discussion points is astoundingly pathetic.
