i HAVE BEEN PLAYING TEH BETTER OF THREE  years and well in that time jack squat has changed even with reloaded buying out hawken. Reloaded has had 6 - 8 monthes to do somthing as of yet I have see jack squat  in acuall fixes or new conent. Bruiser ality is still shitty at usual as is reaper as is rocketeer. hellfires are still fuzzy bunny due to the pre - reloaded nerf. No new maps no new content. All i see is money grubbing use what is already here.  They regurgatation   into bundels. reloaded wreching and pucking out fuzzy bunny that is already here .  Is that their  contrubution to halken ? In 8 monthes. RELOADED I AM CALLING YOU OUT ETHER PRODUCE SOMTHING NEW OR StOP PLAYING AT PRODUCING AND MAINTAINING An ACTIVE PROGRESSIVE GAME.

 

LETS LOOK AT WHAT YOU HAVE DONE TO BE FAIR

 

 1 made a new server selection ( to be honnest this is jack squat you would have to had to do this anyway unless you bought halkens old servers with the game)

 

2  Made some minor changes to a few mechs

 

3 Tried to solve latency issues with you new servers ( again not acualy a progressive fix )

 

4 LOWERED MECH COST IN HC AND IN MC AS WELL AS PROMOTED HAWLKAN IN DOUBLE WEEKEND HC.

 

5  Bundeled already made items and mechs to sell ( nothing wrong with this if you did it along side new content but doing this alone looks like you just want to bleed hawken content that is already there without producing anything new.

 

 

NOW LETS LOOK AT WHAT YOU HAVE NOT DONE IN 8 MONTHES NOT ONE OF THESE THINGS THAT REAL PLAYERS CARE ABOUT

 

1 MADE  NEW MAPS

 

2 MADE NEW MECHS

 

3 FIXED ROCKETTEER ABLITY OR CREATED A NEW ONE

 

4 FIXED HELLFIRES ( BALLENCED THEM )

 

5 FIXED BRUISERS ABLITY  OR  CREATED A NEW ONE

 

6 TURED UP HEAT ON SMG  VULCAN OR ASSULT ..... THE SPAM ON  THES WEAPONS  BS COMPARED WITH BURST WEAPONS HEAT

 

7 AND THIS IS A BIG ONE YOU HAVE NOT FIXED voip IN GAME I COULD EXCUSE ALL OF THE ABOVE IF THAT ALONE WAS DONE AND YOU WERE WORKING ON THE OTHERS BUT NO,  NO VoiP IN GAME ....... WHY IS that ???  EVERY OTHER TEAM BASE SHOOTER HAS  voice over ip to talk to teams but you do not ???? why seriously come on. That is the  number one reason for this deatball bs that we have to deat with in game.

 

8 Game ballence is sH%$  you are ether on the team that is death balling   or you are being death balled no acceptions .

 

9 No new weapons

 

10 no new inturnals

 

11 no new items

 

 

 

In ESSENCE NOTHING NEW ... LET ME REPEAT THAT YOU HAVE PRODUCE NOTHING NEW THAT HAS NOT ALREADY EXISTEED IN THE GAME IN OVER 8 MONTHES ARE YOU SH&tING ME .........

i LOVE HAWKEN  BUT AS I SEE IT IS DAY IS DONE YOUR ARE FALLOWING UP WITH THE SAME fuzzy bunny THE LAST COMPANY DID NEGLECT &  LAZYNESS AND NO INOVATION ... YOU ARE NOT HER TO  SAVE HAWKEN BUT TO BLEED IT  DRY OF BUNDELS OF $HIT THAT IS ALREADY MADE.

Actually, better with devs than without devs. My ping is 40-50 on most servers. It is good. I play good now. Early it was 80-120.
Yes, they don't make new content, but have patience.

Your right I shoul just play along nice as a a game that has been around for three years does not change at all. F^%$ THAT ..   I still do not see is any valid responces to anything i adressed or plans or new mechs or fixes or new maps ect  just crticisism for my pasionat way I wrote  THE POST. WHATEVER  ...... see if anything new comes  down the pipe in the next 4 monthes.    As for fixes I went though the post and fixed everything it did not save it nor update it so FU&^ it

1. Technical Artist interviews

2. Gameplay programmer interviews

3. Private servers should now automatically recover from hard locks in most all circumstances

4. Added another gameserver host in Singapore

5. We got game servers working in the new Staging environment

  - Now we can really hammer away at configurations

 

What do you need for content, for mechs, for maps, for Voip, for weapons, for game balance?

 

Technical artists, gameplay programmers, engineers, etc.

 

 

They don't have the people capable of doing that stuff yet.  They're hiring. They're INTERVIEWING.  Chill out.  Takes forever to hire people these days, and they're being picky. And producing.  Servers have gotten a lot better, ping's more stable, more server locations.  What's the point of adding new content if there's not a stable foundation to put it on? What if they dropped all server work, left it to go to fuzzy bunny, and released a mech? People would complain about server problems and not be able to enjoy that new release.  So they'll stick to small balance tweaks, doing surveys, collecting data, and backend improvements until they have the staff to really create new stuff. The weekly update even mentioned talking to concept artists, meaning that they're slowly starting to get the ball rolling.

 

Real players care about server performance.  Real players also care about content, but that can't come yet.  So they focus on what they can.  They gave us the new noobie Assault, reduced the grind significantly, gave HC bonuses to achievements.  That stuff, players see.  And they appreciate. So stop complaining.

We all wish progress was moving faster, but I have no doubts its coming and it will be a lot of fun when it gets here.  In the meantime, shoot robots.

Reloaded is inept and can not do it perioid. Would you hire a pool cleaner that can not clean a pool and does not have the people to do it or the training .. are you shiting me ... in  8 monthes you cannot hire somone to start one of these things. So by your own words, Hawken has not changed at all for the past 3 years? The world has some funny people.

"Nothing is changing" = altering the new player experience with a new starter mech and better HC gain
"Nothing is being fixed" = improving server performance and lower ping
"Nothing new" = useable private servers, newly released cosmetics, new server regions and locations

But OP is right. After 8 months zero progress is more than poor. And it gets even more embarassing every additional week without atleast balancing changes ... or any changes regarding gameplay or the problems of Hawken.

 

Like when will the gameplay be fixed, the bugs be smashed and the first new major update being available for download. Q4 2016 or Q1 2017? Reaslitically I would say somewhen in between. 

 

I highly doubt that Hawken will ever break its record on steam regarding the 8.4k peak players.

 

 

 

Sorry, josh, I like that you are putting effort in Hawken. But I don't care about how it is made, only about the results. Have you read Hughes last dev update?

As terrible as his post was he does have a point in regards to player retention and new content. I am getting pretty bored with the game now and there is little to keep me here. The only reason I still play is because I like the old school eu community on this game.

I luv dis game too, so I can make some topic like "dis thing is broken!", but I always believe in devs, in older, and in new devs. Even if know nothing changes. Just deal with it and play in game which you luv.
