Hey fellas!
Havent been playing HAWKEN for almost 3 years now and decided to have another try. New mechs, some new maps and nice additions, The game has grown quite a bunch and its awesome to see that :)
On the other hand, whats been standing out a lot in the past few days since Ive played again: the team balance. Wow.
Ive rarely seen any actual close rounds yet. Either my team is moving through the map chilled like a midsummer stroll in the park or it is getting upright humiliated and torn apart to pieces.
I know that theres already a group of elite players and some who might have installed the game some weeks ago, but since now it seemed to me that whenever teams are built, the good players are sorted into one team and the bad ones into the other one. Surely there are some balanced rounds here and there, but compared to other games, a LOT of battles in here are already decided after the first third of the round.
Do some of you think that this game could use some team balance polishing or are my 5 days not enough to already jump to a conclusion? Maybe I also just remember it too differently, cause it was pretty well balanced back when the open beta started...
